Dans ces camaïeux d’ocres et de roux des feuilles, les chants de la Chouette hulotte reprennent dès la fin septembre et les jeunes s’essayent aux hululements.
Ce soir le jour tombe aux alentours de dix-neuf heures, entre l’odeur des Ronces, les couleurs des Laqués améthystes. Les troncs cannelés des Charmes et gris des Hêtres plantent le décor. Un Rougegorge vient de se faufiler dans la petite meule de bois bien rangée.
Au printemps la forêt retentira de chants variés et distingués des Grives musiciennes, des Pinsons des arbres, des Fauvettes à tête noire; pour autant de croquis, de comportements d’animaux à comprendre.
Là-haut des dentelles, des silhouettes, le vent.
Au cœur de la forêt, des ambiances posées, denses, colorées et odorantes.

In the shades of ochre and russet of the leaves, the Tawny Owl songs are starting again by the end of September and the young are trying to hoot.
This evening darkness falls around 7pm, the smell of Brambles, the colours of Amethyst Deceivers. The Hornbeam fluted tree trunks and grey of the Beeches are setting the scene.
A Robin has just managed to edge its way inside the tidy little stack of wood.
At spring time the forest will resound with various and distinguished of musicians Chaffinches, Blackcap Warbler;, so many sketches, so many animal behaviours to understand…
Up there, laces, silhouettes, wind.
At the heart of the forest, calm, dense, colourful and fragrant atmospheres.

Ce compagnon de la forêt, le Geai des Chênes, d’un vol hésitant, large et adroit, aime bien venir voir de plus près lors des affûts… J’en ai surpris récemment une bonne douzaine rassemblés à évoluer de branches en branches et lancer leurs fameux cris. Des rassemblements typiques dès janvier.
This companion of the forest, the Eurasian Jay, in an unsure flight, wide and skilled, likes to come and take a closer look during look-out. I have lately caught a good dozen of them gathered, moving about from branch to branch, uttering their famous cries. Typical gatherings as of January.
